This mini-album collects songs written and recorded by Seamonster and friends in various tucked-away locales across Virginia over the course of three years. "Oh Appalachia," is a fuzzed out surrealist poem against a backdrop of carnival noise and radio static echoing from the mountains, while "The Philosophy of Andy Warhol" is a gentle electro-pop call to calm based on journal entries of iconic artist Andy Warhol. Instrumental opener "New England" was recorded in a friend’s upstairs sewing room, "Bearsuit" when Webb lived in a laundry room in the slums, while "Annalee," in which Webb’s vocals glide across churning beds of electro-folk psychedelia, was tracked in a haunted suburban bedroom not far from a giant trampoline.

“It was a happy coincidence that brought me into the world of Seamonster’s wide-eyed songs and delicate, homespun arrangements: bedroom folk-pop for day dreamers and sleep walkers alike.”
Robert Schneider, The Apples In Stereo

Filter Magazine

“…wonderful all-American folk-pop. From warm, fuzzy psychedelics to gleeful Appalachian party-stompers, this record runs the gamut of poppy greatness.”
OMG Vinyl

“From the beach to the mountains, Seamonster’s Two Birds echoes utmost pleasantries through the audible channel of lo-fi psychedelic folk-pop. Its pop charm is masked by the static white noise of immense distortion, mixed down to a satisfactory non-overpowering level, and warped with the sounds of summertime.”
